The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), under the Government of Pakistan, is seeking highly skilled and experienced professionals for the position of Assistant Director (Database Administrator). This is a prestigious opportunity to work with one of Pakistan’s leading government organizations in Islamabad.
Position Details:
- Job Title: Assistant Director (Database Administrator)
- Age Limit: Maximum 37 years (including 5 years relaxation).
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-graduation experience in database management, preferably with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and Golden Gate.
- Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and troubleshoot Oracle databases (11G, 12G, 19C).
- Ensure database high availability, performance, and security compliance.
- Perform database migration, upgradation, and backup recovery.
- Provide technical assistance to the development team.
- Monitor database usage, transaction volumes, and response times.
Job Location: Islamabad

- Initial contract period of 5 years (extendable).
